Hi! I’m Ashley.
I work with new clients who struggle with finding their inner badass and who seek greater self confidence. Through online training and in-person coaching, I give my clients the tools to turn their weaknesses into strengths and live their best life.
I am a yoga teacher who knows what it’s like to struggle with anxiety, depression, loss, fear, and rejection. I’ve attended trainings around the world, workshops, therapy and read countless books to overcome these struggles. It’s never easy, but so worth it. Overcoming obstacles is way easier when someone has your back. I currently offer private lessons, group classes, virtual lessons, and online accountability groups.
When I’m not on my yoga mat or computer, I can be found:
• outside walking my dog
• hiking the Olympic Mountains
• drinking mochas at local coffee shops
• researching DIY home projects
• reading how-to books on parenting, relationships, and personal development

More of my background…
The majority of my childhood was spent in small town Minnesota with my Mom, Dad, twin sister and various cats and dogs. I was a 4.0 student and have always been competitive. It’s what motivated me to find success, but was also my demise as it stemmed an eating disorder, body image issues, and a very negative mentality. Perfectionism is not fun. It can be very lonely and depressing. Yoga has been a life-saver, no joke. I found yoga my senior year of college because I wanted to be a better competitive athlete. Then I just kept with it.
In 2011, I graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead with a degree in Graphic Communications, emphasis in Digital Design and Production. My interest in graphic design stemmed from a high school internship at the local newspaper. I love simple website building, social media and design. I worked as a full-time graphic designer until 2013 when I retired to be a yoga and fitness pro. It was at this time that I had a choice to make – should I stay at a safe, easy job where I could likely retire in 35 years OR pursue my passion and change lives? I decided on the road less traveled and never looked back. It hasn’t always been easy, but nothing worthwhile ever is.
I spend way too much time on my computer and silly devices. I’m consciously trying to step away more often. Fun fact: In 2016, I made a new year’s resolution to drink more alcohol. Really! I did. I succeeded and it very much helped me to be a more social person. I actually found a beer that I like – Junkyard Peanut Butter Bandit for the win! I also learned that I love working from coffee shops to keep me around the hum-drum of people. Outside of yoga and work, I enjoy reading, listening to podcasts, playing with my dog, cooking delicious meals, camping and traveling. I usually travel for yoga trainings, in hopes to bring the knowledge to the people of Fargo. Someone’s gotta do it. I have visited many new and interesting cities for trainings and certifications in yoga, martial arts and meditation including Minneapolis, Dallas, San Diego, Miami, New York City, London, and Greece.
To start the new year of 2018, I left my hometown of 10+ years (Fargo, ND) and headed straight west to the peninsula of Washington. I currently reside in a beautiful mountain home and I teach occasional yoga classes and host online yoga accountability groups. It’s a pretty awesome life. Ashley Hagen (E-RYT), started practicing yoga in 2010 to help improve her performance as a college athlete. In 2013, after experiencing the benefits of a daily yoga practice, she received her 200-hr yoga teacher certification and began teaching vinyasa yoga, the most accessible style of power yoga. Ashley is also a Budokon® Yoga Sensei trained through the Budokon Mixed Movement Academy with Cameron Shayne. She is inspired by all movement styles including martial arts, calisthenics, running, weight lifting and dance. Her classes are fun, yet challenging with focus on finding the yogi warrior within.
